This morning looks much more optimistic than yesterday. The morning mist is very thin and the sky totally clear. Evidently due to the blowing west breeze that camp up yesterday evening. A front is evidently nearing and the first stirrings of the camp population don't begin until after 8 a.m.

 Camping Menina early morning

After last night's party long into the night, most racers are having difficulty waking up from the delirium and on some it can be seen that a cancellation of today's discipline due to strong winds wouldn't bother them.

 No comment ...

At the morning briefing, former meteorologist Petr Dvorak confirms the worries of strong wind and the organizers themselves head up to test the conditions directly on the starting ground of Tirsek. The next briefing is postponed until 10:00 a.m., again at camp. With mixed feelings the racers study the posted results and some could certainly use a race today.

 Results of yesterday's task

At 10:30 a.m. the organizers announce a wind speed of approximately 12m/s up at the starting ground and today is declared a non-competing day. So nothing changes on the overall placement.

And while some leave to explore the ice caves or to go swimming in the sea, others give in to lazing around camp.

 Lenka from Ostrava town

Shortly before the return of the completely sweat covered Petra Krausova from an afternoon bike ride, a volleyball battle breaks out on the camp court, with Slovak pilots against Czech pilots, during which the first rain shower of the day hits. A weather front crossing is truly predicted for tomorrow, and so it is very likely that nothing will change in the placing tomorrow either. "Ampak se vedno ni vse izgublejno...!"
