Local nature conforms to flora and fauna lovers very well. However some of tourists can be unpleasantly surprised and an ordinary pickup of earthworms can be exchanged for a stampede to save one's life from a dangerous strangler. Splendid waterfalls and ruins from the last war sketch in romantic walks along Soca river.

But not all of competition participants have spare time to go for walks. Weather is always flyable and it looks like a long and interesting task is going to declare today. Martin Orlik hardly managed to measure his paraglider early morning to solve the troubles he has recently. Several knots made by BigMac and everything seems to be alright, perhaps. However one of Slovak pilots lost his patience, gave his "flying horse" back and changed the stable.

A break along the way up

Today's task began with the air start at 2 p.m. and it spanned five turning points altogether. The length of the task was 70 kilometers which appeared appropriately to today's conditions. There was one trap at the end of Polovnik hill where pilots had to turn their favourite point Zaga. That part of the route intermixed the placings. It didn't matter to the winner of today's task Christian Maurer who left the others five minutes behind and now he leads the total ranking of the competition.

From the total number of six women, who reached the goal today, were three from The Czech Republic - Petra Krausova, Hanka Matyaskova a Renata Kuhnova. Renata herself always holds the lead of the women category of the competition.

"My God, who is hanging on those trees, Peter or Pista?" everybody can listen in radios around 3 p.m. Eventually, everything was alright and nothing happened to anybody. Now we can just hope for the welfare evening without Karel's favourite sentence: "Is this normal?!"
