    Eventually, the weather turned fair after two non-flight days and 128 pilots begin their competing in Brazil at half past noon. The first task leads over one turning point and it measures 47.4km in length. Despite too much clouds and cloudbases relatively low, 40 pilots overfly minimum distance 30km and sixteen of them reach today's goal successfully.

    Two hours and 12 minutes is the best time of Gregory Blondeau from France, the winner of today's task. Slovak pilot Peter Vrabec arrives 5 minutes later and German pilot Jens Kierdorf lands one minute after him. The only one woman Anja Kroll reaches the goal, Noriko Mizunuma from Japan is the second and Karin Appenzeller from Switzerland finished as the third in the woman category today.
