    A couple of Vlasta Redl and Vladimir Misik performed by singer, guitarist, accordionist, paragliding pilot, bicyclist, hockeyist, skier and psychologist Roman Skokan definitely woke everybody, who tried to sleep in Penzion Kukacka after the last thunderstorm shortly after midnight yesterday. Roman still asks for his morning beer before breakfast and tries to pretend he didn't know all beer had been drunk during yesterday's night. And while some people are looking forward to it, others are afraid of repeating his loud performance again this night.

    'His wife taxed him with his inability to a suicide very long time. Eventually he did away with himself and now she enjoyes his money up to the present day,' they remember the American communist and singer Dean Reed in a radio this morning. The sun can't be seen outside Penzion Kukacka because of heavy clouds. Meteorological situation isn't very clear and that's why a morning briefing is cancelled. Next briefing will be proceeded at eleven o'clock. Maybe the point is that pilots want to sleep a little bit longer. But there is a bright day at 11 a.m. and the strong sun is shining. All pilots are in hurry to Kozakov hill for a change.

    'Oh my God!' Peter Vrabec stares at little slope of taking off area with high trees in front of it. He is on this hill for the first time. A light wind blows straight from the western side and 68.3km long discipline is proclaimed. The task spans only one turning point in Dolni Kalna village and the goal of today's discipline is located at Velke Porici airport.

    Thanks to perfect working transportation there are no delays at taking off point and pilots take off quickly one by one. Occasionally, several lucky pilots uprise about 50 meters above the hill but they have to land back to take off area after a while.

    Miraculously the conditions become much better shortly before the task window closing at 3.30 p.m. and Roman Skokan makes his take off with several "young and hopeful" pilots in the end. While "young and hopeful" pilots are not very successful Roman Skokan lifts above taking off point tenaciously. This is a heavy shock for those pilots who stayed on land.

    'Skoky down!' pilots shout on the top of Kozakov hill and they'd like to proclaim completely new discipline. But they won't be allowed to proclaim anything if Roman flies away now. Finally, Roman Skokan lands at taking off area optionally 15 minutes after and 17 kilometers long task is proclaimed. A goal is placed in Hrabacov village near Jilemnice town this time. But the task window can't be open at 4 p.m. because Tomas Svoboda is missing now. Eventually, he is brought back to the taking off point twenty minutes later and two groups of competitors fly away gradually in a height of 1800 meters after that.

    'I made three turns only during my whole flight,' Radomir Vyhlas, a winner of today's task, explains and drinks red wine in the evening. He reached the goal in time of 16 minutes and his average speed was 54km/h. He is the fastest pilot indeed although he is not very satisfied with poor 23 marks. But the others got eight marks only. Martina Pospisilova reached the goal four minutes later today and Miloslav Pokorny next one minute later. There are no changes in the first three positions of total ranking of this competition but Peter Vrabec had to swap his fourth position with Martina Pospisilova today.

    'Dear girl, everything will be good for you as long as it fares to you,' a song of Vlasta Redl is presented by Roman Skokan, Mira Oros and the others, who don't want to sleep even at 3 a.m. Perhaps they suppose it rains tomorrow or they don't suppose anything at all ...
