Saturday 14.05.05
An organ storms in the church under Stranik hill and Saturday's morning mass of villagers comes slowly to the end. Martin Vavra alias Manci isn't among them surprisingly although he flew not only on Friday but on Thursday, Tuesday and even uder storm clouds on Wednesday too. The expression on his face on Monday was because of too much alcohol not because of the resolution.

"They gave me this kite when my backbone was broken," Ales Trtil flies his manoeuvrable kite on the top of Stranik and the strong southeast wind rips away hair from his head. Changed yesterday's results are announced at noon because it came to light after some protests and checking tracklogs that ten of pilots had flown through a prohibited area above Mala Fatra mountains yesterday. But there no changes on the top of the ranking.

The winner of overall ranking is Miroslav "Radar" Stehula. Karel Vrbensky is the second and David Ohlidal got to the third position. Martina Pospisilova is the winner of women category, Renata Kuhnova reached the second position and Hanka Matyaskova finished as the third.

The best team of the competition is "Kamikadze" (David Ohlidal, Frantisek Pavlousek, Milan Masarik and Radek Vecera). "MAC" team reached the second position and "Gradient" team finished as the third.

This is the last competition when pilots are cold on Stranik," a new trustee Tomas Fussganger promises and of course he doesn't mean a global warming of the Earth but a building of new lodging rooms on Stranik hill including a swimming pool, which pilots could use during this competition for an ice skating already.

Nothing remains but to wish good luck to his business plan and to thank for delicious food and drink which is available in a hangar every day continuously since the beginning of this year and for his helpful attitude to all pilots. Of course, I can't forget to thank to Gradient company which sponsored this coverage.
