"I dropped down from the first page of overall results to the second one but now I can find my name on the top position of it," Mira Oros values his yesterday's flight during breakfast this morning. Besides, his girlfriend arrived to see him yesterday and he was so pleased that he decided to marry her in two weeks.

"Hooray, Medvedin again!" somebody pretends a huge joy and at a briefing on the last competition day is 51.4km long discipline declared at noon. It leads zig-zag above Krkonose ridge as yesterday but now over Stoh, Vrbatova bouda, a cableway station at Janske Lazne and Labska dam. A goal is located at the same point as yesterday at Svaty Petr.

"What the hell did you do to Habermann, he flew away again!" some pilot asks ten minutes past the start window opening at twenty five past noon while lonely Honza Habermann rises above the hill on the east side of a taking off area. The others join him quickly and the first group fly over the taking off point again towards the second turning point one hour later. A temperature is extremely high today and lifts above Medvedin end as a cloudless thermals or in a small gloom only in a height of 2200 meters.

A bad luck can come everywhere. Veronika Vesela falls down to the east ski slope beside a cableway to Medvedin at twenty past one and Ales Koci lands to help her immediately, followed by a Turkish pilot Hakan Irtem later. Because it looks like a pelvis hurt organizers call a helicopter which interrupts pilots flying on the second and third leg of today's route. Even if several pilots reach the goal successfully the task is cancelled and the overall ranking from yesterday is valid at last.

 The task is declared

Lucky Mira Oros is taking off, his mother cries in the background

 Adie Kumar is taking off

The winners of the overall ranking

The winners of the Women category

 The winners of Junior Championship

A winner of the competition is Frantisek Pavlousek in front of Jan Kupka and Petra Krausova who is the winner of Women category simultaneously. Michal Sneiberg won Czech Republic Junior Championship, a winner of Standard category is Martin Sliva and Ludek Prochazka is a winner of Performance category. All detail results you can find in a "Competitions results" column, see the direct link below.

The final thanks belong to SkyFly shop and its financial aid. I also have to thank to Yellow Point company which organized this competition and the employees helped me a lot. And special thanks to Matej Cerny who lend me some electronic equipment after Wednesday's party and a bad incident. A group of drunk people spilled out a keyboard of my notebook and it stopped working. Even if I always bring most of important things in duplicate prudently including socks, I didn't take this possibility into account really.

Pre-competitions of the Paragliding World Cup have to prove an usableness of flying sites and above all organizers abilities to direct the great event in a given locality. Of course, I don't think I'm the wisest man in a world but I can compare after those years at least. The organizer Yellow Point company will have to install a Wi-Fi internet connection the next year naturally, which will cover its office in centre of Spindleruv Mlyn and the lodging area around Kukacka and Pod Jasany as well. Certainly, this will be no technical problem. I'm cool as a cucumber in all respects and I concurred with some other pilots the competition in the Krkonose Mountains is traditionally the best organized paragliding competition in Czech Republic. If the Paragliding World Cup Association agrees we can look forward to one of PWC 2006 series in Czech Republic in the Krkonose Mountains.
